The creation of a fun and engaging character illustration for a children’s tennis training program by coach Dolianitis Manolis was key to building a strong visual identity. The character, F.R.O.G., represents the program’s core values, making tennis enjoyable for kids while using color-coded tennis balls (red, orange, and green) suited to different ages and skill levels.
The F.R.O.G. character illustration is a playful, energetic mascot that blends the shape of a frog with elements of a tennis ball, making it unique and instantly recognizable. More than just a fun visual, “FROG” serves as an acronym for the program’s key components:
F for Fun / R for Red Ball / O for Orange Ball / G for Green Ball
Designed to be both appealing and symbolic, the F.R.O.G. character illustration helps create a friendly and engaging atmosphere for young participants. Its bright colors, dynamic pose, and expressive features generate excitement, ensuring that children associate the sport with fun and learning.
A carefully crafted logotype was also developed to complement the mascot and reinforce branding. Featuring playful typography and energetic design elements, the logotype enhances the program’s identity. Together, the character illustration and logotype create a cohesive, memorable visual appeal.
By integrating these elements, the project establishes a fun and professional look for the children’s tennis training program, making it more engaging and appealing to young athletes and their families.
