The project for CASA MODIANO, a new luxury suites hotel in the historic old harbor of Chania, involved creating a comprehensive logotype and visual identity. The hotel, housed in a beautifully renovated neoclassical building, required a design that reflects its elegance and sophisticated charm. The visual identity includes a logotype, business cards, key holders, a room service leaflet, and door notes, all designed to evoke a sense of classic refinement combined with modern sophistication.
The logotype design centers on merging the first two letters of the hotel’s name, “C” and “M,” into a classical and modern monogram. This approach captures both the historical essence of the hotel’s architecture and its contemporary luxury. The chosen colors of gold and deep brown are used throughout the visual identity to enhance the sense of elegance and contrast, aligning with the hotel’s upscale ambiance.
